Depending on the year of manufacture and body type, the attachment points may vary slightly.
Front bumper
-open the hood.
-take out the four pistons and remove the trim above the radiator grilles.
-take out the two pistons, release them from the latches (pull them towards you) and remove the grilles.
-take out the two pistons and unscrew the two screws that secure the upper part of the front bumper.
-unscrew the ten screws (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the lower part.
-turn the wheels to the side.
-in the wheel arches, pull out three pistons on each side and release the fender liners (front part).
-behind the fender liners, unscrew one screw on each side (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the corners of the bumper to the wings.
-in the inner part of the wings, below the headlights, unscrew one nut on each side (you will need a long socket wrench).
-with an assistant, carefully pull the bumper forward (watch the wires and hoses).
-disconnect the connectors of the electrical equipment (if any).
-disconnect the headlight washer hoses (if equipped).
Rear bumper
-open the trunk lid.
-in the trunk, remove the back one and release the side trims.
-in the inner part of the wings, unscrew two screws on each side (twisted from top to bottom) that secure the sides of the bumper to the wings.
-from the trunk, unscrew two nuts on each side and remove the rear lights (in liftback models, the rear lights do not need to be removed).
-under the rear lights, pull out one piston on each side (in wagon models, unscrew the screws).
-from the bottom, unscrew the screws and take out the pistons (twisted and inserted from the bottom up) that secure the lower part.
-in the wheel arches we release the fender liners (rear part).
-move the fender liners to the side and unscrew one screw on each side that secures the corners of the bumper to the wings.
-release the latches in the trunk opening (pull towards yourself).
-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (watch the wires).
-disconnect the connectors of the electrical equipment (if any).
