Nissan Sentra VII B17 (2012-2019) bumper removal.

Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points differ slightly.

Front bumper

The bumper is removed along with the radiator grille.

-open the hood.

-under the hood, take out the twelve pistons and remove the trim above the radiator grille.

-under the trim we take out the four pistons that secure the radiator grille and two pistons that secure the upper part of the front bumper (after 2015, the bumper mounting pistons are located behind the radiator grille).

-from the bottom we take out the six pistons that protect the engine and unscrew three screws on each side that secure the fender liners.

-turn the wheels to the side.

-in the wheel arches we release the fender liners (front part).

-move the fender liners to the side and unscrew one screw on each side (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the corners to the wings.

-release the latches in the wings (pull the corners toward you).

-release the latches under the hood.

-with an assistant, carefully pull the bumper forward (watch the wires).

-disconnect the connectors of the electrical equipment (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the trunk we take out the pistons, remove the back one and release the side trims.

-behind the side trims, unscrew two nuts on each side and remove the rear lights (they are held on by clips, pull them towards you).

-under the rear lights, unscrew the two screws and take out the two pistons that secure the upper part of the rear bumper.

-from the bottom we take out two pistons and unscrew the two screws that secure the lower part.

-in the wheel arches, unscrew one screw on each side that secures the corners to the wings.

-release the latches in the wings (pull the corners toward you).

-release the latches in the trunk opening.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (watch the wires).

-disconnect the connectors of the electrical equipment (if any).
