Nissan Maxima VIII (A36) (2015-2023)
Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may vary slightly.
Front bumper
-open the hood.
-under the hood take out ten caps (inserted from top to bottom) that secure the upper part of the front bumper and trim.
-from the bottom side, unscrew the fourteen screws (spun up) that secure the engine protection and fender liner.
-turn the wheels to the side.
-in the wheel arches, we release the fender liner (the front part needs to be hooked and pulled towards you).
-for the fender liner, unscrew one screw on each side (spun up) that attach the corners to the wings.
-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).
-we release the clips under the hood.
-with an assistant, gently pull the bumper forward (look behind the wires).
-disconnect connectors from electrical equipment.
Rear bumper
-open the trunk lid.
-in the trunk, we release the side trim (you need to gain access to the back of the rear lights).
-for the skins, unscrew two nuts on each side, release them from the latches (pull towards you) and remove the taillights.
-under the rear lights, unscrew one screw and take out one piston on each side.
-from the bottom take out six caps (inserted from the bottom up).
-in the wheel arches, we release the fender liner (rear).
-move the fender liner to the side and unscrew one screw on each side (spun up) that attach the corners of the rear bumper to the wings.
-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners towards you).
-with an assistant, gently pull the bumper back (look behind the wires).
-disconnect the parking sensors connectors (if any).
