Nissan Maxima VI (A34) (2003-2008)

Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may vary slightly.

Front bumper

 

-open the hood.

-take out the four pistons and remove the trim over the grille.

-under the trim take out the caps that secure the upper part of the front bumper and grille.

-from the bottom, unscrew the four screws and take out the five caps.

-turn the wheels, depending on which side we will disassemble.

-wheel arches take out the caps and release the fender liner (front).

-for the fender liner, unscrew two screws on each side that secure the sides to the wings.

-with an assistant, gently pull the bumper forward (be careful not to break the wires).

-disconnect the connectors from the electrical equipment (if any).

Rear bumper

 

-open the trunk lid.

-we release the lining of the trunk.

-from the trunk, unscrew the nuts and remove the taillights.

-from the trunk, in the inner part of the wings, unscrew two screws on each side that attach the sides of the rear bumper to the wings.

-under the rear lights, unscrew the two screws and take out the two pistons.

-in the opening of the trunk, unscrew the two screws.

-from the side of the bottom we take out six caps that secure the lower part.

-in the wheel arches, we release the fender liner (rear).

-for the fender liner, unscrew one screw on each side that secure the corners of the bumper.

-with an assistant, gently pull the bumper back (look behind the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).
