How to remove front and rear bumper Nissan 350Z

Nissan 350Z (2002-2009)

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood take out the six caps that secure the upper part of the front bumper.

-from the bottom, take out the caps and Unscrew the four screws that secure the bottom.

-turn the wheels to the side.

-wheel arches take out the caps and release the fender liner (front).

-for the fender liner, unscrew two screws on each side that secure the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-with an assistant, remove the bumper (be careful not to break the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-unscrew three screws on each side and remove the rear lights.

-under the rear lights, unscrew the two screws and take out the two pistons.

-wheel arches take out the caps that secure the fender liner.

-for the fender liner, unscrew the screws that secure the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-unscrew the screws from the side of the bottom that secure the lower part.

-with an assistant, gently pull the bumper back (be careful not to break the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors.
