Nissan Xterra I (1999-2004) bumper removal.

Depending on the year of manufacture, the mounting locations may vary.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-we release the clamps (you need to turn ninety degrees) and remove the radiator grille.

-remove the side marker lights.

-unscrew the bolts securing the left and right bumper pillars.

-remove the cover of the lower hole of the grille.

-in the wheel arches, unscrew the bolts securing the left and right side brackets of the bumper.

-in front of the radiator, unscrew the bolts that secure the bumper amplifier brackets to the body.

-with an assistant, carefully pull the bumper assembly forward (make sure not to break the wires).

-disconnect the electrical connectors (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the trunk opening, unscrew the four screws.

-in the wheel arches, unscrew three screws on each side and remove the side parts of the rear bumper.

-unscrew three nuts on each side and remove the middle part (look at the wires).

-disconnect the electrical connectors.
