Nissan Altima V (L33) (2012-2018)
Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may vary slightly.
Front bumper
-open the hood.
-under the hood take out eight caps and remove the trim.
-under the trim take out the caps that secure the upper part of the front bumper.
-from the bottom, unscrew the screws and take out the caps that secure the fender liner and engine protection.
-turn the wheels to the side.
-wheel arches take out the caps and release the fender liner (front).
-for the fender liner, unscrew one screw on each side that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.
-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners towards you).
-we release the latches under the headlights and above the headlights.
-with an assistant, remove the bumper forward (be careful not to break the wires).
-disconnect electrical connectors.
-remove connector from the PDC (if any).
Rear bumper
-open the trunk lid and release the side trim (you need to gain access to the back of the rear lights).
-for skins, unscrew the nuts, disconnect the connectors and remove the taillights.
-under the rear lights take out two caps (inserted from top to bottom) and unscrew one screw on each side.
-in the wheel wells, unscrew one screw on each side (spun up) that attach the corner of the bumper to the wings.
-from the bottom, take out the caps (inserted from the bottom up) that secure the lower part.
-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners towards you).
-with an assistant, gently pull the bumper towards you.
-remove connectors from electrical equipment (if any).
