How to remove front and rear bumper Nissan 370Z

Nissan 370Z (2008-2020)

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood take out six caps and remove the trim.

-under the trim take out the six caps that secure the upper part of the front bumper.

-from the bottom, unscrew the ten screws that secure the bottom.

-turn the wheels to the side.

-wheel arches take out the caps and release the fender liner (front).

-for the fender liner, unscrew one screw on each side (spun up) that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-release the latches in the wings (pull the corners towards you)

-with an assistant, remove the bumper (be careful not to break the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-remove the pads near the rear lights (hold on latches).

-under the covers, unscrew the four screws.

-from the trunk, unscrew the nuts and remove the taillights.

-under the rear lights take out two pistons on each side.

-take out the two pistons in the opening of the trunk.

-wheel arches take out the caps that secure the fender liner (rear).

-for the fender liner, unscrew the screws that secure the corners of the bumper to the wings (spun up).

-unscrew the screws and take out the caps from the bottom that secure the lower part of the rear bumper.

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners towards you).

-with an assistant, gently pull the bumper back (be careful not to break the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors.
