Nissan Altima II (L30) (1997-2001)
Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may vary slightly.
Front bumper
-open the hood.
-under the hood, unscrew the three screws that secure the top of the front bumper.
-from the bottom, unscrew the two screws and take out the six caps that secure the bottom.
-turn the wheels to the side.
-in the wheel arches, we release the fender liner (front).
-for the fender liner, unscrew one screw on each side that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.
-with an assistant, remove the bumper forward (be careful not to break the wires).
-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).
Rear bumper
-open the trunk lid.
-in the opening of the trunk, unscrew the four screws.
-take out the caps from the bottom that secure the lower part of the rear bumper.
-in the wheel arches, we release the fender liner (rear).
-for the fender liner, unscrew one screw on each side that secures the corners of the bumper to the wings (spun up).
-we release the clips in the wings.
-with an assistant, gently pull the bumper back (be careful not to break the wires).
-disconnect electrical connectors.
