How to remove front and rear bumper Nissan Bluebird

Nissan Bluebird XI (1996-2001)

Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may differ.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-release from the latches (pull towards you) and remove the grille.

-under the grille take out the three clips that secure the upper part of the front bumper.

-from the bottom, unscrew the screws (spun up).

-turn the wheels, depending on which side we will disassemble.

-in the wheel arches, we release the fender liner (front).

-for the fender liner, unscrew one screw on each side (spun up) that attach the corners to the wings.

-with an assistant, gently pull the bumper forward (be careful not to break the wires).

-disconnect the connectors from the electrical equipment (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the opening of the trunk take out the three pistons that secure the upper part of the rear bumper.

-unscrew the screws in the inner part of the wings.

-from the side of the bottom we take out five caps that secure the lower part.

-in the wheel arches, we release the fender liner (rear).

-unscrew one screw on each side that secure the sides of the bumper.

-with an assistant, gently pull the bumper back (look behind the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).
