How to remove front and rear bumper Toyota Prius (1997-2003)

Toyota Prius I XW10 (1997-2003)

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood, Unscrew the three screws (spun down).

-at the bottom of the bumper, Unscrew the screws and take out the caps.

-turn the wheels to the side.

-in the wheel arches, we release the fender liner (front).

-for the fender liner, Unscrew one screw on each side (spun up) that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings and nuts in the depth of the wing below the headlights.

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-unscrew the screws and remove the lining of the trunk.

-for the skins, Unscrew the ten bumper nuts.

-at the bottom of the bumper take out the caps.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).
