How to remove the front and rear bumper Toyota C-HR

Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may vary slightly.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood take out the caps (inserted from top to bottom) that secure the trim over the grille.

-we release from the latches and remove the trim.

-under the trim, Unscrew the three screws (spun down).

-at the bottom of the bumper, Unscrew the eight screws (spun up).

-turn the wheels to the side.

-in the wheel wells, take out the caps and Unscrew the screws that secure the fender lining, fender liner and side of the bumper.

-we release the lining of the wings from the bumper (pull towards you).

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors.

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the opening of the trunk, take out the plugs and Unscrew the two screws behind them.

-at the bottom of the bumper take out eight caps (inserted from the bottom up).

-in the wheel arches we take out the caps that secure the wing lining and fender liner.

-unscrew one screw each that secures the corners of the bumper.

-we release the lining of the wings from the bumper (hold on the latches, pull towards you).

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-we release the latch in the opening of the trunk.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors.
