How to remove the front and rear bumper Toyota GT86

Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may vary slightly.

Front bumper

-open the hood

-under the hood take out two pistons and Unscrew the five screws.

-at the bottom of the bumper take out seven caps and Unscrew the two wines (twisted and inserted from the bottom up).

-turn the wheels to the side.

-wheel arches take out four pistons on each side.

-we release the latches in the wings and under the headlights (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the opening of the trunk, Unscrew the two screws.

-in the trunk, remove the floor and disconnect the connectors under it.

-around the perimeter of the lower part of the bumper take out six caps.

-take out the caps in the wheel arches.

-we release the latches in the wings, under the rear lights and in the opening of the trunk (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires, you need to pull them out of the body).
