Despite the external difference, the bumper and the 7th and the 8th generation Chevrolet Malibu attached practically the same.

Depending on the year of the attachment points are slightly different.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood, Unscrew the screws and take out the caps (twisted and inserted top to bottom) that secure the top part (the pad, if any).

-take out the caps and Unscrew the screws (twisted and inserted from the bottom up) that secure the lower part.

-wrenched the wheel to the left or right side depending on which side we will analyze first.

-wheel arches take out the rivets and removed the fender liner.

-for wheel arch liners Unscrew one screw on each side (spun upwards) holding the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-we release the latch in the wings and around the headlamps (from the wing, pull the corners themselves).

-pulls the bumper forward (making sure not to break the wires).

-remove the connectors from the equipment (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-wheel arches take out the caps and Unscrew the screws, release the mud flaps and the fender liner.

-for wheel arch liners Unscrew one screw on each side that attach the angles to the wings.

-(if any) in the opening of the trunk, Unscrew the screws that secure the top.

-we release the latch in the wings, behind the rear lights and opening boot (starting with the wings, pull the corners themselves).

-remove the back bumper (don't want to break the wires).

-remove the connectors from the equipment (if any).
