How to Remove the Front Bumper:

 

  1. Lift the hood.

  2. Under the hood, unscrew the six bolts that secure the top side of the front bumper and the radiator grille.

  3. For convenience, turn the wheels to the side.

  4. In the wheel arches, remove two clips and unscrew two bolts on each side, then release the fender liners.

  5. Lie under the car and unscrew two bolts (tightened from the engine compartment side) that secure the brackets to the metal reinforcement.

  6. Release the clips in the fenders (grab the corner with your hands and pull firmly toward yourself).

  7. With an assistant, remove the bumper forward (be careful not to damage the electrical wires).

  8. Disconnect the connectors of the fog lights (if installed) and other electronic components (if present).

How to Remove the Rear Bumper:

  1. Open the trunk lid.

  2. In the trunk opening, unscrew six screws (of different sizes) that secure the top side of the rear bumper.

  3. Unscrew four screws from the bottom side (tightened from bottom to top).

  4. In the wheel arches (on both sides), unscrew two screws and remove four clips.

  5. Release the clips in the fenders (grab the corner with your hands and pull firmly toward yourself).

  6. With an assistant, remove the bumper backward (pay attention to the wires).

  7. Disconnect the connectors of the parking assist system (if installed) and the license plate lighting.
