Chevrolet Aveo II T300 (Sonic) (2012-2020)

Depending on the year of manufacture, the mounting locations may vary slightly.

How to remove the front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood, unscrew the four screws and take out the six pistons (twisted and inserted from top to bottom) that secure the upper part of the front bumper (lining).

-from the bottom, unscrew the five screws and remove the protection.

-unscrew the six screws (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the lower part.

-in the wheel arches, unscrew three screws on each side that secure the fender liners (front part).

-unscrew one screw on each side (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the corners to the wings.

-release the latches in the wings (pull the corners toward you).

-release the latches under the headlights.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (watch the wires).

-remove the connectors from the fog lights (if any).

How to remove the rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-from the bottom we take out the four pistons and unscrew the two screws (twisted and inserted from the bottom up) that secure the lower part of the rear bumper.

-in the wheel arches, unscrew the screws that secure the fender liners (rear part) and mud flaps.

-(sedan) unscrew one screw on each side (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the corners to the wings.

-release the latches in the wings (pull the corners toward you).

-release the latches under the rear lights.

-release the latches in the trunk opening.

-with an assistant, carefully pull the bumper back (make sure not to break the wires).

-disconnect the connectors of the electrical equipment (if any).
