How to Remove the Front Bumper

 

  1. Open and secure the hood.

  2. Under the hood, unscrew four bolts and remove two clips securing the top side of the front bumper.

  3. From underneath the car, unscrew the screws (fastened from bottom to top) securing the lower side.

  4. For easier access, turn the wheels to the side.

  5. In the wheel arches, remove two clips on each side and free the wheel liners.

  6. Move the wheel liners aside and unscrew one bolt on each side (fastened from bottom to top) securing the corners to the fenders.

  7. Release the clips in the fenders (grab the corner with your hands and pull towards yourself).

  8. Release the clips under the headlights (pull towards yourself).

  9. With the help of an assistant, remove the bumper by pulling it forward (watch for wires).

  10. Disconnect the connectors for the fog lights (if installed) and other electronic components (if present).

 


How to Remove the Rear Bumper

  1. Open the trunk lid.

  2. In the trunk opening, unscrew two screws on each side, release from the holders, and remove the rear lights.

  3. Under the rear lights, unscrew two screws securing the top part of the rear bumper.

  4. From underneath the car, unscrew two screws and remove two clips securing the lower part.

  5. In the wheel arches, unscrew four screws on each side (two screws are fastened from top to bottom, inside the fenders).

  6. Release the clips in the fenders (pull the corners towards yourself).

  7. Release the clips in the trunk opening (pull towards yourself).

  8. Remove the bumper by pulling it backward, watching for wires.

  9. Disconnect the connectors for the parking assist system (if installed).
