How to remove front and rear bumper Ford Galaxy (1995-2000)

The front and rear bumper mounting points of the Ford Galaxy (1995-2000) are identical with the VW Sharan and SEAT Alhambra (before 2000).

Front bumper

-in the wheel arches, Unscrew two screws on each side.

-remove the license plate along with the frame and unscrew the two screws behind it.

-Unscrew the screws from the bottom (screwed from bottom to top).

-with an assistant, we pull the bumper forward from the guides in the wings (look behind the wires).

-disconnect the connectors of the electrical equipment (if any).

Radiator grille

-open the hood.

-under the hood, take out two pistons and Unscrew the two screws that secure the radiator grill.

-near the headlights, Unscrew one screw on each side and take out the direction indicators.

-in the opening of the direction indicators, unscrew one screw and remove the radiator grill.

Rear bumper

-Unscrew the screws in the wheel arches (in order not to remove the wheels, it is more convenient to unscrew the ratchet with a nozzle).

Then there are two options:

-from the bottom side, Unscrew the nuts that secure the amplifier to the side members.

-Unscrew the screws at the bottom and release the latches at the top that secure the bumper to the amplifier.

-with an assistant, we pull the bumper back from the guides in the fenders.

-remove the connector from the parking sensors (if any).
