How to remove front and rear bumper Ford Maverick

The first generation Ford Maverick is identical to the Nissan Terrano 2.  How to remove front and rear bumper Nissan Terrano2 R20 (1993-2006)

Ford Maverick 2 (2000-2007)

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood, unscrew the two screws that secure the upper part.

-Unscrew the two screws in the lower grille.

-Unscrew the screws from the bottom side (twisted from bottom to top).

-turn the wheels to the side.

-in the wheel arches, Unscrew the screws that secure the wheel arch liners (front part).

-Unscrew one screw on each side (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the sides of the bumper to the fenders.

-with an assistant, we pull the bumper forward from the guides in the wings (look behind the wires).

-disconnect the connectors of the electrical equipment (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-Unscrew the six screws in the trunk opening.

-in the wheel arches, Unscrew the screws that secure the wheel arch liners (rear part).

-behind the wheel arch liners, Unscrew one screw on each side (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the sides of the bumper to the fenders.

-Unscrew the screws around the bottom of the bumper.

-with an assistant, we pull the bumper back from the guides in the fenders (look behind the wires).

-remove the connectors of the electrical equipment (if any).
