How to remove front and rear bumper Honda Insight (2009-2014)

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood take out the seven rivets that secure the trim over the grille.

-remove the trim under it and pulls out two pistons (inserted from top to bottom) that secure the upper part.

-around the bottom part pulls out six caps and Unscrew two screws (twisted and inserted from the bottom up).

-wrenched the wheel depending on which way we understand.

-wheel arches vacated lockers and Unscrew one screw on each side holding the bumper corners to the wings.

-with an assistant, carefully release the latches in the wings under the headlights (pull the corners to the sides and forward) and pulls the bumper forward.

-snap together the connectors of the fog lights (if any).

-if you have headlight washers, disconnected the hoses (may leak the fluid).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the opening of the trunk, Unscrew the four screws.

-on the perimeter in the bottom part pulls out four piston and Unscrew the two screws (twisted and inserted from the bottom up).

-wheel arches Unscrew two screws on each side.

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners into themselves and back).

-release the clips under the rear lights and opening boot.

-with the assistant gently pulls the bumper back.

-releasable connector Parking assist (if any).
