How to remove the front and rear bumper Honda Clarity

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood we take out seven caps (note the caps are of different sizes), release them from the latches and remove the trim over the grille.

-under the trim take out the four pistons (inserted from top to bottom).

-take out ten caps (inserted from the bottom up) that secure the bottom of the bumper.

-turn the wheels to the side.

-in the wheel wells, Unscrew the screws that secure the fender liner and bumper corners to the wings.

-we release the latches in the wings and under the headlights (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors.

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-unscrew the two screws in the opening of the trunk.

-take out eight caps (inserted from the bottom up) that secure the bottom of the bumper.

-in the wheel wells, Unscrew the screws that secure the fender liner and bumper corners to the wings.

-we release the latches in the wings and under the rear lights (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors.
