How to remove front and rear bumper Honda Crosstour

Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may differ.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood take out the caps that secure the trim and grille (note caps of different sizes).

-around the perimeter of the lower part of the bumper take out ten caps (inserted from the bottom up).

-turn the wheels to the side.

-in the wheel wells, Unscrew the screws that secure the fender liner (front) and the sides of the bumper to the wings.

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-we release the latches under the headlights.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (look behind the wires and hoses).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).

-(if any) disconnect the headlight washer hoses.

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the opening of the trunk take out the four plugs and Unscrew the screws under them.

-around the bottom of the take out the caps and Unscrew the screws.

-in the wheel wells, Unscrew the screws that secure the fender liner (rear) and the sides of the bumper to the wings.

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-we release the latches under the rear lights and in the opening of the trunk.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).
