Mitsubishi Space Star II (2012–2023)
Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points differ slightly.
Front bumper
-open the hood.
-under the hood, unscrew the four bolts (spun down) that secure the upper part of the bumper.
-take out the seven caps and unscrew the two screws (inserted and tightened from the bottom up) that secure the protection to the bottom of the bumper.
-depending on which side we will disassemble, turn the wheels to the side.
-in the wheel wells take out two pistons on each side that secure the fender liner (front).
-move the fender liner to the side and take out one piston on each side (inserted from the bottom up) that attach the corners to the wings.
-in the lower grille, in front of the bumper, Unscrew the two screws.
-we release the latch in the wings (take the corner and pull towards you).
-with an assistant, carefully pull the front bumper forward (look for the wires).
-disconnect the fog lamp connectors (if any).
Rear bumper
-open the trunk lid.
-in the opening of the trunk, unscrew two screws on each side and remove the rear lights (hold on the latches, pull towards you).
-under the taillights, unscrew the two screws (in earlier versions, these screws are available without dismantling the taillights).
-wheel arches take out three pistons on each side that secure the fender liner (rear).
-behind the fender liner, we take out one piston on each side (inserted from the bottom up) that attach the corners of the rear bumper to the wings.
-take out the four pistons from the bottom (inserted from the bottom up).
-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners towards you).
-with an assistant, gently pull the bumper back (look behind the wires).
-disconnect the connectors for the license plate lighting and parking sensors (if any).
