Mitsubishi Mirage VI (2012–2023)
Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may vary slightly.
Front bumper
-open the hood.
-under the hood, unscrew the four bolts that secure the upper part of the bumper.
-from the bottom, take out the seven caps and unscrew the two screws (inserted and screwed up).
-turn the wheels to the side.
-in the wheel arches, take out two pistons on each side and release the fender liner (front).
-for the fender liner, we take out one piston on each side (inserted from the bottom up) that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.
-unscrew the two bolts in the lower bumper grille.
-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners towards you).
-with an assistant, gently pull the bumper forward (look behind the wires).
-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).
Rear bumper
-open the trunk lid.
-in the opening of the trunk, unscrew two screws on each side and remove the rear lights (hold on the latches, pull towards you).
-under the rear lights, unscrew the two screws.
-wheel arches take out three pistons on each side that secure the fender liner (rear).
-take out one piston on each side (inserted from the bottom up) that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.
-take out the four pistons from the side of the bottom that secure the lower part.
-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).
-with an assistant, carefully pull the rear bumper back (look behind the wires).
-disconnect electrical connectors.
