Mitsubishi Space Runner (RVR) II (1999-2003)
Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may differ.
Front bumper
-open the hood.
-under the hood, release from the clips and remove the grille.
-under the grille, unscrew the two screws that secure the upper part of the front bumper (metal bar).
-from the bottom, take out the four pistons and Unscrew the four screws.
-turn the wheels to the side.
-wheel arches take out three pistons on each side and release the fender liner.
-for the fender liner, unscrew two screws on each side that secure the corners of the bumper to the wings.
-remove the license plate along with the frame and pull out two pistons behind them.
-with an assistant, remove the bumper (be careful not to break the wires).
-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).
Rear bumper
-open the trunk lid.
-in the opening of the trunk, unscrew the eight screws that secure the upper part of the rear bumper.
-wheel arches take out two pistons on each side that secure the fender liner.
-for the fender liner, unscrew two screws on each side that secure the corners of the bumper to the wings.
-take out the caps from the bottom.
-with an assistant, carefully pull the bumper back (be careful not to break the wires).
-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).
