Mitsubishi Colt VI Z20/Z30 (2002-2012)
Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points differ slightly.
Front bumper
-open the hood.
-under the hood, unscrew the four screws (spun down).
-from the bottom, unscrew the screws and take out the caps that secure the lower part of the bumper.
-turn the wheels, depending on which side we will disassemble.
-in the wheel arches, take out one piston on each side that attach the fender liner (front).
-Unscrew one screw on each side (spun up) that attach the corners to the wings.
-(Z20 2002-2012) remove the license plate along with the frame and pull out the piston behind them.
-(Z30 2008-2012) remove the grille (it is held on by latches, just pull it towards you) and unscrew five screws behind it.
-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners towards you).
-with an assistant, carefully pull the bumper forward (look behind the wires and hoses).
-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).
-(if any) disconnect the headlight washer hoses.
Rear bumper
-open the trunk lid.
-in the opening of the trunk, unscrew the screws (two or four, depending on the model).
-at the bottom of the bumper take out the caps (inserted from the bottom up).
-wheel arches take out two pistons on each side that secure the fender liner (rear).
-unscrew one screw on each side that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.
-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).
-with an assistant, pull the rear bumper back (look for the wires).
-disconnect electrical connectors.
