Mitsubishi Pajero / Montero Sport II (2008-2016)
Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may differ.
Front bumper
-open the hood.
-take out the four pistons, release them from the latches (pull towards you) and remove the grille.
-behind the grille, unscrew the two screws and take out the two pistons.
-from the bottom, unscrew the screws (spun up).
-remove the license plate along with the frame.
-behind the license plate, Unscrew the two bolts.
-turn the wheels, depending on which side we will disassemble.
-in the wheel arches, unscrew two screws on each side and release the lining of the arches from the latches in the bumper (take the bottom and pull towards you).
-unscrew the screws that secure the fender liner (front).
-for the fender liner, unscrew one screw on each side (spun up) that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.
-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners towards you).
-with an assistant, carefully pull the front bumper forward (be careful not to break the wires and hoses).
-disconnect the connectors from the electrical equipment (if any).
-disconnect the headlight washer hoses (liquid may leak).
Rear bumper
-open the trunk lid.
-in the opening of the trunk, unscrew the four screws that secure the top.
-from the bottom, take out the four pistons that secure the lower part.
-unscrew the screws and release the lining of the arches from the bumper (hold on latches, pull towards you).
-unscrew the screws and release the fender liner (rear).
-for the fender liner, we take out one piston on each side (inserted from the bottom up) that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.
-with an assistant, release the latches in the wings (pull the corners towards you) and carefully pull the bumper back.
-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).
