How to remove the front and rear bumper Mitsubishi RVR III

Mitsubishi RVR III (2010-2023)

Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may vary slightly.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood take out the caps (inserted from top to bottom) and remove the trim.

-under the trim, unscrew the three screws that secure the upper part of the front bumper.

-unscrew the two screws in the lower grille.

-from the bottom take out the caps (inserted from the bottom up).

-turn the wheels to the side.

-in the wheel arches we take out three pistons on each side that secure the fender liner.

-remove the fender liner to the side and unscrew one screw on each side (spun up) that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-with an assistant, remove the bumper (be careful not to break the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-unscrew two screws on each side and remove the taillights (held by latches).

-unscrew the screws and remove the boot lid stops.

-unscrew the four screws in the opening of the trunk that secure the upper part of the rear bumper.

-in the wheel wells take out the caps and release the fender liner.

-unscrew one screw on each side (spun up) that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-take out the caps (inserted from the bottom up) that secure the lower part.

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners to the sides).

-with an assistant, carefully pull the bumper back (make sure that the wires do not break).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).
