Mitsubishi Pajero/ Montero III (1999-2006)
Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may differ.
Front bumper
-open the hood.
-we release from the latches and remove the grille (with a thin flat screwdriver you need to press on the tail of the latch).
-under the grille, unscrew the three screws that secure the metal bumper reinforcement.
-turn the wheels, depending on which side we will disassemble.
-in the wheel wells take out the caps that secure the fender liner (front).
-remove the fender liner to the side and unscrew two screws on each side that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings and the amplifier to the brackets.
-around the bottom of the take out the caps and Unscrew the screws.
-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (be careful not to break the wires and hoses).
-remove connectors from electrical equipment (if any).
-disconnect the headlight washer hoses (fluid may leak from the reservoir).
Rear bumper
-open the trunk lid.
-unscrew two screws on each side and remove the tail lights.
-unscrew the screws under the rear lights.
-in the opening of the trunk, unscrew the five screws and take out the four pistons.
-take out the caps and unscrew the screws around the perimeter of the lower part of the bumper.
-in the wheel wells, unscrew the screws and take out the caps that secure the fender liner and mud flaps.
-move the fender liner to the side and Unscrew one screw on each side that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.
-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires).
-disconnect electrical connectors.
