Mitsubishi Pajero / Montero Sport I (1998-2009)

Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may differ.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-take out the caps, release from the latches and remove the grille.

-from the bottom, unscrew the screws.

-turn the wheels, depending on which side we will disassemble.

-in the wheel wells, unscrew two screws on each side that secure the corners of the bumper.

-from the side of the engine compartment, unscrew the bolts and nuts that secure the bumper amplifier and brackets to the body (or release the bumper from the latches in the amplifier).

-with an assistant, gently pull the bumper forward (be careful not to break the wires).

-remove connectors from electrical equipment (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the opening of the trunk, unscrew the screws that secure the top.

-from the bottom, unscrew the screws that secure the bottom.

-from the trunk, unscrew the two screws that secure the sides of the rear bumper.

-with an assistant, release the clips in the wings and carefully pull the bumper back.

-when dismantling, pay attention to the wires.
