Mitsubishi Pajero Pinin / Montero iO (1998-2007)

Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may differ.

Front bumper

The front bumper is removed together with the amplifier (metal bar).

-from the bottom, unscrew the six screws.

-turn the wheels, depending on which side we will disassemble.

-in the wheel wells, unscrew one screw (spun up) that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-open the hood.

-release from the latches and remove the grille.

-behind the grille, unscrew two screws on each side that secure the headlights.

-in the wheel arches, behind the fender liner, unscrew one nut on each side and remove the headlights.

-under the headlights, unscrew the screws and remove the metal bar above the bumper.

-now from the side of the engine compartment, unscrew the bolts that secure the bumper amplifier to the body.

-with an assistant, gently pull the bumper forward (be careful not to break the wires).

-remove connectors from electrical equipment (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the opening of the trunk, unscrew the six screws that secure the top.

-from the side of the bottom we take out two pistons that secure the lower part.

-in the wheel wells, unscrew the screws and take out the caps that secure the fender liner and side of the rear bumper.

-with an assistant, gently pull the bumper back.

-when dismantling, pay attention to the wires.
