How to remove front and rear bumper Mitsubishi ASX I (Outlander Sport)

Mitsubishi ASX I (2010-2023) (Outlander Sport)

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood take out the caps (inserted upside down), release the seal and remove the cover.

-under the pickguard, Unscrew the three screws that secure the top.

-Unscrew the two screws in the front of the grille.

-perimeter of the lower part and pull out the caps (inserted from the bottom up).

-wrenched the wheel to the side.

-wheel arches pulled three pistons on each side that attach the fender liner.

-for wheel arch liners Unscrew one screw on each side (spun upwards) holding the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-we release the latch in the wings (gently pull the corners themselves).

-with the assistant remove a bumper (watching not to cut wires).

-snap together the connectors of the equipment (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-Unscrew two screws each side and remove the tail lights.

-in the sides of the doorway Unscrew the screws and remove the stops on the tailgate.

-Unscrew in the opening four screws that secure the top.

-wheel arches take out the rivets and removed the fender liner.

-Unscrew one screw on each side (spun upwards) holding the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-take out the caps (inserted from the bottom up) that secure the lower part.

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners apart).

-with the assistant gently pulls the bumper backwards (ensure that no broken wires).

-remove plug with sensors and other equipment (if any).
