How to remove front and rear bumper Kia Telluride

Kia Telluride I (2019+)

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood we take out six caps (inserted from top to bottom) that secure the upper part of the bumper (the grille cover).

-from the bottom, unscrew the six screws that secure the engine protection.

-turn the wheels to the side.

-wheel arches take out three pistons on each side that secure the fender liner (front).

-unscrew one bolt on each side (spun up) that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-we release the latches under the headlights.

-we release the hood lock lever.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors.

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the opening of the trunk, near the rear lights, remove the lining (hold on latches).

-under the trim, Unscrew three screws on each side and remove the taillights.

-under the rear lights, unscrew the two screws and take out the two pistons.

-in the wheel wells, unscrew two screws on each side that secure the fender liner (rear) and one screw that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-from the bottom, take out the caps (inserted from the bottom up) that secure the shields.

-from the back of the bumper, Unscrew two screws on each side that secure the metal bumper reinforcement to the body.

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors.
