KIA Optima IV / K5 JF (2015-2020)
Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may vary slightly.
Front bumper
-open the hood.
-under the hood, unscrew the two screws that secure the air intake.
-take out the six caps that secure the upper part of the bumper (pad).
-on the perimeter of the lower part, unscrew the five screws that secure the protection.
-turn the wheels to the side.
-in the wheel wells take out two pistons and unscrew one screw on each side that secure the fender liner (front).
-unscrew one screw on each side (spun up) that secure the corners of the bumper to the wings.
-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).
-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (look for the wires).
-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).
Rear bumper
-open the trunk lid.
-in the side panels of the trunk, open the hatches and unscrew four nuts on each side that secure the rear lights.
-remove the rear lights (pull back).
-under the rear lights take out one piston and unscrew one screw on each side.
-raise the trunk floor and remove the rear panel trim (up).
-behind the casing, disconnect the electrical connector and push it out with the wire.
-at the bottom of the bumper take out the caps that secure the side protection.
-in the wheel wells, unscrew the screws that secure the fender liner (rear).
-unscrew one screw on each side that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.
-from the back of the bumper, unscrew the four bolts that secure the amplifier to the body.
-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).
-with an assistant, pull the bumper back.
