Kia Sorento III UM (2014-2020)
Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points differ.
Front bumper
-open the hood.
-under the hood, unscrew the two screws and take out the three pistons that secure the trim over the grille.
-unscrew the five screws (spun up) that secure the lower part of the bumper.
-(if any) pull out the headlight washer nozzles up and remove the caps from them (you need to squeeze the latches with your fingers and pull up).
-turn the wheels to the side.
-in the wheel wells take out four pistons on each side that secure the fender liner (front).
-unscrew one screw on each side that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.
-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).
-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (look for the wires).
-disconnect electrical connectors.
Rear bumper
-open the trunk lid.
-in the side trim of the trunk take out the plugs.
-under the plugs, unscrew two nuts on each side and remove the taillights (held by clips in the wings).
-under the rear lights take out two pistons on each side.
-in the wheel wells, unscrew three screws on each side that secure the fender liner (rear).
-unscrew one screw on each side (spun up) that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.
-from the bottom, take out the caps, unscrew the screws and nuts that secure the shields.
-remove the shields and unscrew the bolts under them that secure the bumper amplifier to the body.
-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).
-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires).
-disconnect electrical connectors.
