How to remove the front and rear bumper Kia Seltos

Kia Seltos SP2 (2019+)

Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may differ.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood, take out the caps and Unscrew the two screws, remove the trim over the grille (holds on latches).

-under the trim, unscrew the four screws.

-take out ten caps (inserted from the bottom up) that secure the lower part of the bumper.

-turn the wheels to the side.

-in the wheel wells take out three pistons on each side that secure the fender liner (front).

-move the fender liner to the side and unscrew one screw on each side (spun up) that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-we release the clips near the headlights.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors.

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the opening of the trunk, unscrew two screws on each side and remove the rear lights.

-for the tail lights, unscrew one screw and take out one piston on each side.

-in the trunk, take out two pistons and remove the rear panel trim (pull up).

-behind the casing, disconnect the electrical connector of the bumper electrical equipment.

-in the wheel wells, Unscrew three screws on each side that secure the fender liner (rear).

-for the fender liner, Unscrew one screw on each side that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-from the bottom, take out the caps and unscrew the nuts that secure the plastic shields.

-for the shields, unscrew the bolts that secure the bumper amplifier to the body.

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires).

-take out the bumper electrical wires from the body.
