How to remove front and rear bumper Audi A8 (2017+)

Audi A8 IV D5 (2017+)

Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may vary slightly.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood take out six caps and remove the trim over the grille.

-under the trim, unscrew the four screws (spun up).

-turn the wheels to the side.

-in the wheel wells, Unscrew three screws on each side that secure the fender liner (front).

-unscrew one screw on each side that secures the corners of the bumper to the wings (spun up).

-on the perimeter of the lower part, unscrew the screws (spun up).

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners towards you).

-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (look behind the wires and hoses).

-disconnect the headlight washer hoses (you need to prepare a container for liquid from the tank).

-disconnect electrical connectors.

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the trunk, remove the trim.

-for the skins, unscrew ten nuts in the inner part of the wings and in the rear panel.

-from the bottom, unscrew the screws (spun up).

-in the wheel wells, unscrew three screws on each side that secure the fender liner (rear).

-unscrew one screw on each side (spun up) that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors.
