Audi A5 II (8W6) (2016+)
The attachment points may differ slightly depending on the year of manufacture.
Front bumper
-open the hood.
-remove the hood lock lever (pull up).
-remove the cover over the radiator grill (it is held by the latches).
-under the cover, unscrew the screws (twisted from top to bottom) that secure the upper part.
-from the bottom side, Unscrew the screws that secure the bottom of the bumper.
-turn the wheels to the side.
-unscrew three screws on each side in the wheel arches that secure the wheel arches.
-we move the wheel arch liners to the side.
-take out one piston at a time and unscrew one screw at a time (deep under the headlight) that attach the sides of the bumper to the wings.
-release the latches in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).
-with an assistant, we pull the bumper forward (look behind the wires and hoses).
-we disconnect the connectors of the electrical equipment.
-snap off the headlight washer hoses (liquid may leak).
Rear bumper
-open the trunk lid.
-release from the latches and remove the lining near the rear lights.
-under the pads, unscrew two screws on each side and remove the taillights.
-behind the rear lights, near the wings, pull it up and remove the clips.
-pull up and remove the trim of the rear panel of the trunk, remove the caps on the side trims of the trunk.
-from the trunk, behind the skins, unscrew the four nuts that secure the bumper to the rear panel.
-unscrew three screws on each side in the wheel arches that secure the wheel arches to the bumper.
-take the wheel arch liners to the side and unscrew one screw on each side that secure the corners of the bumper to the fenders.
-unscrew the screws from the bottom that secure the lower part.
-release the latches in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).
-with an assistant, we pull the bumper back (look behind the wires).
-disconnect the connectors of the electrical equipment (if any).
