How to remove front and rear bumper Mazda Demio

The bumper attachment points on the second, third and fourth generation Mazda Demio are identical to the corresponding Mazda 2 generations .

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-unscrew the screws and remove the grille.

-unscrew the screws at the bottom of the bumper (spun up).

-turn the wheels to the side.

-in the wheel wells, Unscrew the screws that secure the fender liner (front).

-for the lining of the wings, unscrew one screw on each side that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-from the side of the engine compartment, unscrew the four nuts.

-we release the clips in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the opening of the trunk, take out the five screws.

-unscrew the nuts from the side of the bottom (rear side of the bumper).

-unscrew the screws that secure the fender liner to the bumper.

-unscrew one screw on each side that secures the sides of the bumper to the wings.

-at the bottom of the bumper, unscrew the screws (spun up).

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).
