How to remove the front and rear bumper Mazda 3 (2014-2018)

Mazda 3 III (BM) (2014-2018)

Depending on the year of manufacture and body type, the attachment points differ slightly.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-unscrew the two screws that secure the air intake (if any, depends on the type of engine).

-take out the six caps and unscrew the six screws that secure the top of the bumper.

-unscrew the ten screws and take out two pistons (twisted and inserted from the bottom up) that secure the lower part of the bumper.

-turn the wheels to the side.

-in the wheel wells take out three pistons on each side that secure the fender liner (front).

-move the fender liner to the side and unscrew one screw on each side (spun up) that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (holds on the latches in front) (look behind the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors.

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-from the trunk, Unscrew the nuts and remove the rear lights.

-under the rear lights, Unscrew the two screws and take out the two pistons.

-in the opening of the trunk, unscrew the two screws.

-in the wheel wells, unscrew the screws and take out the caps that secure the fender liner (rear).

-Unscrew the two screws that secure the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-on the perimeter of the lower part of the bumper, Unscrew the screws (spun up).

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors.
