Mazda CX-9 II TC (2016+)
Depending on the year of manufacture of the body, the attachment points may vary slightly.
Front bumper
-open the hood.
-under the hood, take out the two pistons and remove the cover of the hood lock.
-take out the six caps and unscrew the four screws (twisted and inserted from top to bottom) that secure the top of the bumper.
-unscrew the ten screws and take out the four pistons that secure the engine protection and fender liner to the bottom of the bumper.
-lower down the edge of the engine protection and take out two pistons (inserted from the bottom up).
-turn the wheels to the side.
-in the wheel arches take out six caps on each side that secure the wing lining and fender liner (front).
-we release the lining of the wings from the bumper (hold on the latches, pull the bottom towards you).
-for the lining of the wings, unscrew one screw on each side that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.
-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).
-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (look for the wires).
-disconnect electrical connectors.
Rear bumper
-open the trunk lid.
-in the opening of the trunk, take out the plugs and Unscrew the four screws.
-take out the caps that attach the fender liner to the bumper and wing lining.
-in the upper part of the wheel arches, we release the latches that secure the wing linings (you need to pry down with a flat screwdriver).
-we release the lining of the wings from the latches in the bumper (pull towards you).
-under the overlays, unscrew one screw and take out two caps on each side that secure the sides of the bumper.
-at the bottom of the bumper, Unscrew the screws and take out the caps (twisted and inserted from the bottom up).
-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).
-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires).
-disconnect electrical connectors.
