How to remove the front and rear bumper Mazda MX-5 ND (2015+)

Mazda MX-5 IV ND (Miata) 2015+

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood take out the four clips and unscrew the two screws that secure the top of the bumper.

-around the perimeter of the lower part, unscrew the eight screws (spun up) that secure the engine protection and fender liner.

-turn the wheels to the side.

-in the wheel wells take out three pistons on each side that secure the fender liner (front).

-move the fender liner to the side and unscrew one screw on each side (spun up) that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (look for the wires).

-disconnect the connectors of the fog lights and direction indicators/

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-take out the four pistons and remove the rear trunk trim.

-unscrew the two nuts behind the casing, unscrew the two screws in the upper part and remove the rear lights (hold on the latches, pull towards you).

-in the opening of the trunk, unscrew the two screws (spun down) that secure the upper part of the bumper.

-wheel arches take out the caps that secure the fender liner (rear).

-for the fender liner, Unscrew one screw on each side that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-around the perimeter of the lower part of the bumper, take out the caps and unscrew the screws (inserted and unscrewed from the bottom up).

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors.
