How to Remove Front Bumper

  1. Lift and secure the hood

  2. Remove two clips and detach the hood latch cover (two additional clips underneath)

  3. Unscrew four bolts and remove six clips (fastened top to bottom) securing the upper radiator grille panel

  4. From underneath, remove ten bolts and two clips (fastened bottom to top) securing the radiator support shield and fender liners to bumper bottom

  5. Bend down the radiator support shield (removal unnecessary) and remove two clips (inserted bottom to top)

  6. Turn steering wheel to one side

  7. In wheel arches, remove two clips per side securing wheel arch extensions and two clips per side for front fender liners

  8. Release wheel arch extensions from bumper (held by internal clips, pull toward yourself from bottom up)

  9. Pull extensions outward and remove one bolt per side securing corners to fender brackets

  10. Release fender latches (pull bumper corners sharply toward yourself)

  11. Release front fasteners (marked red in image, pull lower grille area toward yourself)

  12. Remove bumper forward (mind wires and hoses)

  13. Disconnect electrical connectors

  14. Detach headlight washer nozzle common hose (if equipped)

How to Remove Rear Bumper

  1. Open trunk

  2. In trunk compartment, remove four bolts (note varying sizes)

  3. Near taillights, remove covers

  4. Under covers, remove two bolts per side and detach taillights (pull toward yourself)

  5. From underneath, remove four clips and four bolts (fastened bottom to top)

  6. Remove splash guards (if present)

  7. In wheel wells, remove clips securing wheel arch extensions and rear fender liners

  8. Release extensions from bumper (four internal clips, pull toward yourself starting from bottom)

  9. Under extensions, remove one bolt and four clips per side

  10. Release fender latches (pull corners toward yourself)

  11. Carefully remove bumper rearward (avoid damaging wires)

  12. Disconnect electrical components (if equipped)

Model Description
