The first-generation Renault Kangoo debuted in 1997 and was produced until 2007. The model code for the passenger version is KC0/KC1, while the commercial variant (Kangoo Express) is FK0/FK1. In 2003, the car underwent a facelift that affected its exterior, interior, and technical components.

 

Model Description

The Renault Kangoo I is a compact, high-capacity MPV positioned as both a family car and a commercial van. It combined the practicality of a minibus with the maneuverability of a hatchback.

How to Remove the Front Bumper

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the three clips behind the hood and lift off the radiator grille trim.
  3. Unscrew three screws on each side securing the fender liners to the bumper (two in the wheel arches and one underneath).
  4. Remove three bolts (fastened upward) securing the lower part of the front bumper.
  5. Unscrew one screw on each side securing the bumper’s side edges.
  6. Remove the two screws on the top edge.
  7. With an assistant, pull the bumper forward and disconnect the fog light wiring harness.

How to Remove the Rear Bumper

  1. Open the tailgate and unscrew six screws securing the upper part of the rear bumper (clips may be used instead).
  2. (If present) Remove four screws underneath, fastened upward.
  3. Unscrew two screws in each wheel arch securing the fender liners to the bumper.
  4. Remove two screws securing the bumper’s sides to the wing brackets.
  5. With an assistant, pull the bumper backward and disconnect the taillight wiring.
