How to remove front and rear bumper Citroen Xsara 2 (2000-2006)

Citroen Xsara (2000-2006)

Depending on the type of body, the attachment points differ slightly.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-take out the four pistons and remove the plastic grille.

-under the grille, unscrew the two screws.

-unscrew the five screws from the bottom (spun up).

-turn the wheels to the side.

-in the wheel wells, unscrew the screws that secure the sides of the bumper.

-we release the sides of the bumper from the clips.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (be careful not to break the wires).

-disconnect the connectors from the electrical equipment (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the trunk opening, unscrew the three screws (spun down).

-(wagon) remove the rear lights and unscrew the screws under them.

-unscrew the screws from the bottom (spun up) that secure the bottom of the bumper.

-in the wheel wells, Unscrew the screws that secure the sides of the bumper.

-we release from the clamps side of the bumper.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (we'll look at the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).
