How to remove front and rear bumper Citroen C-Elysee

Citroen C-Elysee (2012-2023)

Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may vary slightly.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood, unscrew the six screws that secure the upper part of the bumper.

-depending on which side we will disassemble, turn the wheels.

-in the wheel wells, unscrew three screws on each side that secure the fender liner (front).

-move the fender liner to the side and unscrew one screw on each side (twisted from top to bottom, it is very inconvenient to unscrew) that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-unscrew the screws (spun up) from the bottom.

-we release the clips in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper down).

-raise the upper part and with an assistant pull the bumper forward (look behind the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-we release the side trim of the trunk.

-unscrew one nut on each side and remove the rear lights (hold on latches).

-in the inner part of the wings, below the rear lights, Unscrew one screw on each side.

-from the bottom, unscrew the screws (spun up).

-in the wheel wells, unscrew the screws that secure the fender liner (rear).

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-we release the latches under the rear lights.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).
