How to remove front and rear bumper Citroen Evasion

Citroen Evasion (1994-2002)

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-unscrew the screws, release the latches and remove the grille.

-remove the direction indicators (hold on latches).

-unscrew three screws on each side and remove the headlights.

-under the headlights, unscrew one screw on each side (from the side of the engine compartment).

-unscrew the screws that secure the lower part of the bumper (spun up).

-through the openings of the headlights, unscrew two nuts on each side (spun from the side of the engine compartment) that secure the bumper amplifier to the body (the nuts are in a very inconvenient place).

-in the wheel arches release the fender liner.

-pulls the bumper forward from the guides in the wings (be careful not to break the wires).

-remove connectors from electrical equipment (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the opening of the trunk, Unscrew the two screws.

-from the bottom, unscrew the screws (spun up).

-in the wheel wells, unscrew the screws that secure the fender liner (rear).

-behind the fender liner, unscrew one screw on each side that secures the corners of the bumper to the wings (note that if the screws are rusty, you can turn the clips in the plastic).

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).
