How to remove front and rear bumper Citroen C8

Citroen C8 (2002-2014)

Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may vary slightly.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood take out the caps that secure the upper part of the bumper (radiator grille).

-depending on which side we will disassemble, turn the wheels.

-in the wheel wells, unscrew the screws that secure the fender liner (front).

-move the fender liner to the side and unscrew the screws that secure the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-on the perimeter of the lower part of the bumper, unscrew the screws and release the metal clips (you need to turn 90 degrees).

-we release the clips under the hood.

-we release the bumper from the guides in the wings (pull the corners forward).

-we release the clips under the headlights.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors.

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the opening of the trunk, unscrew the five screws.

-from the bottom, unscrew the two screws and two nuts (spun up).

-in the wheel wells, unscrew the screws that secure the fender liner (rear).

-for the fender liner, unscrew the screws that secure the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-we release the clips in the wings.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).
