How to remove front and rear bumper Citroen C-Crosser

Citroen C-Crosser (2007-2013)

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood, remove the lining.

-under the trim, unscrew the screws that secure the upper part of the bumper.

-remove the license plate along with the frame.

-in the front of the bumper take out the three plugs and Unscrew the screws under them.

-depending on which side we will disassemble, turn the wheels.

-in the wheel wells take out three pistons on each side that secure the fender liner (front).

-unscrew one screw on each side that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-unscrew the screws (spun up) from the bottom.

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners towards you).

-we release the latches under the headlights.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (look behind the wires and hoses).

-disconnect the headlight washer hoses (liquid may leak).

-disconnect electrical connectors.

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-unscrew two screws on each side and remove the rear lights (held by latches).

-under the rear lights take out one piston on each side.

-unscrew the screws in the opening of the trunk.

-from the bottom, unscrew the screws (spun up).

-wheel arches take out the caps that secure the fender liner (rear).

-for the fender liner, unscrew one screw on each side that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-we release the latches under the rear lights.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors.
