How to remove front and rear bumper BMW 6-series E63 (E64)

BMW 6-Series II (E63/E64) (2003-2010)

Front bumper

-Unscrew the wheel left or right depending on which side will Unscrew first

-wheel arches need to unscrew the screws holding the fender liner to the bumper.

-under the hood, remove the seal (pulls in towards the engine), and unscrew the bolts underneath that attach the top part of the bumper.

-remove the bottom grille and fascia fog lamp (attached with snaps).

-under the grills Unscrew the four screws (spun up)

-pulls off corners with the side latches and pulls the bumper itself (not to scratch the paint on the wings is better to do it together).

-remove the connectors from the fog lights.

-if you have headlamp washers, remove the hoses from the injectors (if the tank is liquid, it will flow through the removed hoses, you need to prepare a blank).

-if there are sensors, releasable connector.

-the bumper is cleared.

Rear bumper

-in the wheel wells, Unscrew the screws and take out the rivets that secure the inner fender  (so as not to remove the wheels, use a ratchet with a nozzle).

-throughout the length of the lower part of the bumper take out the caps.

-remove the license plate with the housing.

-under the license plate, unscrew the two screws (under the internal asterisk).

-pulls off the bumper with the side latch, pull the edge down and over (to not scratch the paint on the wings better

-to do it together).

-pulls the bumper itself.

-if you have sensors, remove the connector.

-the bumper is cleared.
